From
the Very Beginning poem for Mother
From the very beginning
a daughter touches your heart
with her love and affection.
She has a way of making you want to give her
all that's beautiful in the world,
because her hugs are the sweetest joys,
and because, by some miracle, she's a part of you.
And, as the years go by, your dreams grow with her --
till one day she's a parent herself,
And you look at her with tender pride,
knowing she's feeling now the same wonderful things you've felt for her.

Behold
the Mother with Her Newborn Child
Behold the mother with her newborn child!
An icon of a hope that never dies.
Death may label all we cherish lies,
Yet this love lies too deep to be defiled.
We clear an inner field where fate has smiled,
Letting play the pleasures of surmise,
Holding back all contrary replies,
As though our thoughts might turn the winters mild.
Despite the well-known travesties of time,
Each time a child is born we dream anew,
For only thus our losses are regained.
Though we must share the destiny of slime,
No passion in our palette is more true
Than that which cradles innocence unstained.

A Gift on Mother's Day Poem 2014
Through my eyes I see
A sanctum,
Where there are leaves to lead the way;
There the grass needs never cutting
And stays groomed everyday.
Through my eyes I see
A sanctum
That no one can take away.
And through my eyes I see a place
Where all the kids can play.
Through my eyes I see
A sanctum
Where all the days are years;
The mommies there will never age,
Nor will they cry a tear.
I think I'll call this Mom's Land,
For beyond its flowered wall,
The beauty matches only a mother's
And that is the most beautiful of all.

A
Mother's Love Determines How ( a very nice Poem for Mother day 2014)
A mother's love determines how
We love ourselves and others.
There is no sky we'll ever see
Not lit by that first love.
Stripped of love, the universe
Would drive us mad with pain;
But we are born into a world
That greets our cries with joy.
How much I owe you for the kiss
That told me who I was!
The greatest gift--a love of life--
Lay laughing in your eyes.
Because of you my world still has
The soft grace of your smile;
And every wind of fortune bears
The scent of your caress.
We love ourselves and others.
There is no sky we'll ever see
Not lit by that first love.
Stripped of love, the universe
Would drive us mad with pain;
But we are born into a world
That greets our cries with joy.
How much I owe you for the kiss
